CONGRATULATIONS CHIEF TURTLES FOR FTF! A quick Park and Grab for most cachers. This cache is at a rarely used gate and public access 1/10th of a mile south of the main entrance to the Charlotte Harbor Preserve State Park.
The cache can be reached from outside the fence. You are allowed inside the fence though and all of the land to the north and west is open for hiking. Please hike around staff maintenence and storage areas.
The trail north of here, Old Datsun Trail is host to a great multi-cache (Hog Wild) and 2 traditional caches (Mariner#1 and Old Datsun Trail). the container was taken from a GoofyButterfly cache at Audubon-Pennington Park in Port Charlotte. Thanks GoofyB! Please let me know if their are any issues with the coordinates.
