Geocache Description:

Small lock and lock container near the main entrance to Platte River State Park, Nebraska.

Platte River State Park is near Louisville, Nebraska. This cache is outside of the park proper so may not require a Nebraska State Parks permit – please be careful and watch for other vehicles because the road can be busy. You should consider entering the park to explore all that it has to offer, including some caches and an EarthCache for you to discover.

The Nebraska State Parks require a $5 daily or a $26 annual permit -- check out (visit link) for additional information. The daily permits are available in a box near the park entry proper, but the annual permits are only available at this site when the Park Office is open (hours vary with season). The permit allows you to enjoy all of the State Parks, Historical Parks, and Recreation areas.

This is one of my first hides, so I’d appreciate constructive feedback. Thanks to Stargazingwoman for her muddy help!
