Camo’d match holder off a trail on the west side of Platte River State Park, Nebraska. The parking for this area, if you aren’t staying in the Owen Cabins, is at N 40 59.281, W 096 13.365 (Waypoint listed below). You may see horses from nearby YMCA Camp Kitaki on the trail; but please don’t cross their fence boundary.

This is one of my first hides, so I’d appreciate constructive feedback. I rated this terrain a 2 for the distance from the nearest legal parking and the difficulty 1.5 for what is likely in summer -- please let me know if you think they need to be revised. Platte River State Park is near Louisville, Nebraska. It offers a variety of day use activities and overnight facilities. There have not been many caches in the park, so I decided to add some and encourage exploration of the park.
The Nebraska State Parks require a $5 daily or a $26 annual permit -- check out (visit link) for additional information. The daily permits are available in a box near the park entry proper, but the annual permits are only available at this site when the Park Office is open (hours vary with season). The permit allows you to enjoy all of the State Parks, Historical Parks, and Recreation areas.
