Geocache Description:

Placed for the Spring Stomp 2013

Formerly SS12 - T'R'U'e Trekkers Cache

A funny thing happened on the way to this geocache, back in 2011!

A team of highly dedicated merchandizing individuals conceptualized this devilish geocache and its final location...

As I arrived at work one evening, one of my coworkers, let's call him DMan, asked me and another fellow co-worker, MicheleB if we had ever heard of this little game called Geocaching. Well, MicheleB and I looked at each other and started laughing, as MicheleB stated quite proudly that she was a Geocacher, taking me by surprise. I looked at her and replied that I too was a Geocacher. DMan chuckled himself, saying that he and his ex-wife used to Geocache all the time with their children.

How funny was this we said, that all three of us working alone on the night crew, just happened to all be Geocachers, and we immediately started recounting some of most illustrious, and not so illustrious geocache finds and DNFs frustrations.

Each of us asking the other for hints on geocaches that have escaped that ever so delightful smiley. And of course, recounting the marvelous finds, from the start of the trek to the moment of discovery.

From that moment, the seed was planted within each of us, and we devised a plan to place a geocache together.

- We wanted to keep it close to work.
- We wanted to place something worthwhile.
- We wanted to place something original.

And most of all, we wanted to place something relating to our work and personality.

Several nights I would go out on my "lunch" break, GPS in hand, scouring the area for the perfect spot for our "work" themed cache.

DMan followed me on a few occasions, but we could never fully cover enough ground together, and never really finding that absolutely gorgeous location. One beautiful and clear night, I tried once more... and then I saw it...

I rushed back to work, smiling broadly as I went and found my coworkers. I exclaimed with joy that I had discovered the ideal spot and was pleasantly surprised by their enthusiasm with my placement location.

The itsy-bitsy spider
Climbed up the water spout
Down came the rain
And washed the spider out
Out came the sun
And dried up all the rain
And the itsy-bitsy spider
Climbed up the spout again

Although the nursery rhyme will not necessarily help you find the geocache and its location, please keep it in mind when searching.

Please make sure you replace the cache as you found it so other cachers can have the pleasure of discovering it the way you did

Please be aware that there are no access points from the highway, and any stopping on the highway is not only stupid, but will result in me archiving the geocache and its location.
