Geocache Description:

Moneydork thinks he was left off the Wandering Heroes trail, but he wasn't ---  The cache is located on Karunda road between Tailem Bend and Karunda. This is a good bitumen road with a wide mallee vegetation corridor.

Moneydork had a cache placed for him several months ago but a crashed computer and a cleared GPS caused his tribute cache coordinates to go wandering...  He pouts about it in http://coord.info/GC45HZ5  ;-P

Skippy and I have come to know Moneydork as a dear friend.  We enjoy teasing each other and manage a decent day of caching now and again by his standards.  Moneydork is currently the reigning highest finder in New Zealand (his home) and would rank at about #2 in Australia.  He was chosen as geocacher of the month by Groundspeak in December 2012 by the voting of his fellow cachers in New Zealand, here in Australia and cachers all over the world. Moneydork has cached all over New Zealand and in every state in Australia.  He often goes on long cache raids with his friends from New Zealand finding hundreds of caches on each trip. Moneydork is a former President of the NZ Recreational GPS Society and he chaired the very first NZ Mega in 2012. He has many well-known hides in both NZ and South Australia. He is also a reviewer for Earthcaches in the region and has from time to time published a cache or two for australasia. Even without the stats, you'll find Moneydork is a dedicated geocacher who enjoys all aspects of the game.  He will take up a challenging terrain or conquer a series -- he loves them all.  Now that he is living in South Australia we think he fits in quite well despite his devotion to his home country and his friends and family that remain there.  I encourage anyone who wants a great geocaching experience to accept any caching invitation he extends!
