Welcome to the Wonderland Travel Bug Motel
This geocache received the highly coveted 5-Bug Badge of Honor from "Travel Bug Hotels of America".
This was originally a large ammo can, but now it is a smaller container where you can trade trackable items. We think the muggles have found this spot, so we have switched to a smaller container. We would like for this to be a safe haven and for there to always be a nice selection of items, so please only take as many as you leave.
PLEASE be considerate and log all trackable items in and out in a timely manner. The owners of the trackable items purchased them and put them out into circulation so that they could have fun tracking them.
There is a rather LARGE trackable item in this area called "3100" that we would like to invite everyone to discover. "3100" would not fit inside the cache container and it hopefully will not be going anywhere for quite a while!
Parking can be found at the trailhead at the end of Melrose Road, which is at N 41 56.311 W 072 32.793
In the parking area, face the river. Use the unmarked trail entrance on your left that quickly goes up and away from the river. This will bring you to the yellow trail. Patient geocachers can reach the geocache area by following the yellow trail. In one spot, the yellow trail takes a hard right, but you should go left down an unmarked trail. Impatient geocachers can get to the geocache sooner, but the route is tougher!
