Not caught but released
There are fish in the ocean and fish in the sea
There are fish in the river and this escapee
He was not born in a pool like other fish are
Though he lived in the wild and not in a jar
But his home was not normal, no, not by far.
Tired of pellets and other canned food
Now for a worm he was just in the mood
But how could he get one stuck in the pen?
Tended each moment and watched by the men.
He made his escape it was a quarter to ten.
Well now that he’s out what should he do?
He can’t make the river he needs help from you
If you can find him, over near the tree
Give him a hint on how to stay free
And to watch for the eagle his new enemy.
