Cache & Chat @ The Coppertops Event Cache

This is a chance for myself and my family as newbies to meet other geocachers, to share experiences, tips, ideas for caches and recommend your favourite caches.

We are new to geocaching and want to meet up with other newbies and more experienced geocachers, as there is still so much we, as many others still don't get or understand.

This event will take place at 13.03 on 03.03.13

This event welcomes any geocachers, young, old, new to it and the more experinced,Please could you log that you will be attending so I have a idea of numbers. I have picked this pub as it is close to all main roads and easy to get to from the M5, it has plenty of parking and is in ideal location to grab some caches, this pub has changed hands a few times the last few years but has seen some famous people play here, in 1972 The Beatles had a set and played here, in 2005 it had the fifties teen heart throb Craig Douglas sing his hits "only sixteen" and "pretty blue eyes".  The landlord of the pub is letting us have one of the party rooms so there will be plenty of space for everyone, by all means bring the mini cachers, as we will have colouring, games and things to keep them occupied, some of our pals from the mega event 2013 will be there.

There is no food being provided at this event although the landlord does make a nice roast, which if you phone 01905 428055 you can reserve your dinner, just let them know your in the geocaching party in the topaz room and how many you require. Also just to let you know there is stairs one flight of about 12 steps but unfortunately there is no wheelchair access, as their lift isn't working.

Although this event doesnt officially start till 13.03 we have booked the room from 12pm should anyone like to come earlier please feel free. Please bring along anything you would like to share photos, your geobags, unusual cache containers. We look forward to meeting you all.
