West Texas Reviewer: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so the cache is being archived to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements. Please be advised this is not a guarantee that this geocache will be unarchived. Many factors will go into my decision. The most important of which is how you responded to geocachers who tried to communicate with you regarding the problem(s) with this geocache hide and how you communicated with me, the West Texas Reviewer.

Geocache Description:

This series of 23 Geocaches is to celebrate the first anniversary of the Woodland Hills Elementary Geocaching Club. Yes, this is what “WHEGCCFA” stands for (Woodland Hills Elementary GeoCaching Club First Anniversary).

Last year, on February 15, 2012, jewelyannb (Ms. Brewer, Asst. Principal) introduced Geocaching to Woodland Hills Elementary. Since then, the WHE Geocaching Club has emerged as a well organized school-wide club with the help of a generous grant from the Humble ISD Education Foundation. More and more kids and parents are joining the club. WHEGCC has regular meetings and Geocaching activities. Kids and parents are having fun together, and kids are learning to use GPS technology, read descriptions, infer and solve puzzles, and enjoy nature in a new way. This club has created a small community within our neighborhood. The club mostly consists of fourth graders. As a parent participating in this club with my child, I want these kids to have some FTFs. Thanks to the Geocaching community for the patience and giving first chance to the WHE Geocaching club for FTFs. Congrats to TRNG team for FTF.
