Geocache Description:

Just a minor puzzle and Challenge to distract you from the many Traditional caches you may be doing if on the Mid-North Coast Wander. It will 'pay' to check your stats before you start logging those 200+ caches, as this is also a 'minor' Challenge cache.
You MUST have Found a minimum of 200 caches to qualify for going for this one, and PLEASE check the 'fine' BOLD print below.

While this cache is open for all geocachers, Premium and 'Freemium' members alike, this one is to encourage the Premium members especially to look at some of the statistics available to you. Go to the "Your Profile" drop-down, and select "Quick View", then select "Statistics". Scroll on down until you see a Square Grid labelled "Difficulty and Terrain of Caches I've Found".

You will need to check how many caches you have found of the Difficulty row rated 1½, and where it intersects with the column rating Terrain as 1½. See the Grid for MAP's below as an example. With our 'A' = 24, after logging caches found in Queensland.

What is your D1½/T1½ = 'A'?

The Challenge for this cache is for you to work out how many other combinations of D/T you need to use to add up to or exceed your 'A'. On checking the *TOP TEN cachers of Australia (pro-tem) they would qualify by being able to use 4 to 5 other combinations to equal their 'A'. * Top 100 cachers*

By the way, the cache is NOT at the above coordinates, but is at:
FYKKKIV IVV.PPKIVVV RQPIVV YKKKVI.PPPKIVV

Fine Print

1/ If you have ANY other square of the grid (combination of Difficulty and Terrain) that exceeds 'A' then you will go into 'our' HALL of FAME, and in your log please state: ***FOUND***, and state which square helped you to achieve that success, and how many caches you have found of that square v 'A' amount.
A 'screen-print'/JPEG added to your log would be GREAT, and appreciated by those that may try to emulate your success.

2/ If you need TWO other grids to equal or exceed 'A' you will get an 'HONOURABLE MENTION', and in your log state: **Found**, stating which combinations were used to exceed the value of 'A'.

3/ If you need to use THREE other grids to equal or exceed the amount of 'A' caches in your log state: *Found*, and which combinations were used and their amounts, versus the amount for 'A'.

4/ If you need 4 (FOUR) to 6 (SIX) other grids to equal or exceed 'A' in your log state the number of grids required to exceed 'A', and you will still be able to get your 'smilie'.

5/ SORRY! But, if you require 7 (SEVEN) or more other grid squares to exceed the amount of 'A', then you may only get a 'smilie' by stating in your log "FAILED", and how many other grids had been required to exceed the value of 'A'. Option: Label an attached photo (JPEG, or other) of your D/T Grid to your log with "FAILED" - it must be big enough to be legible, or it will be deleted.

6/ IF you can't equal the number of 1½/1½ rated caches, because it ('A') exceeds half of the total caches found then sorry, but you are one of the few who can only log a Note, and NOT get a 'smilie'.
That is, until you have found more caches in the other combinations, and 'A' is then less than half of the total. You may then come back to the cache page, and so long as you have signed the log sheet at Harrington, you can then log a "FAILED" (or other) for the date you have actually more finds in the other grids than the 'A' of that date. You still need to state how many other grids are used to achieve a total greater than 'A'.

So long as you continue to find caches of different D/T ratings (and don't do just power trails that are naturally stacked with the 1½/1½ caches) then at sometime in the future you will be able to get a smilie for this cache (so long as you have over 200 caches found, of course).

By the way, for basic, or Freemium members, to learn what your grid looks like you would be best to log a note to the cache page before coming 'to town' stating your intention to find the cache, and we can get back to you with a JPEG of your grid. There are a few programs available that will allow the basic member to access the numbers, and it is up to you to work out the best one for your purpose otherwise.

HALL of FAME members:MVMtBiker, * Baktrak *, Orrsome86, TOMBI!, team Lewis, BillHill531, ABLEService, Huskymaddog, and Tatt2squared.
