I've decided to "Log" my life in geocaches: a timeline, if you will. This themed series (called: of my life) will consist of 8 caches...and more as life goes by!

...oh the life of a Bank Teller (2003-2009)

As much as I loved being a DSD Receiving Manager at the grocery store, finishing my education was more important. I had taken all the night classes I could. So now that I need day classes, my 6:00am to 2:00pm work schedule is kind of void. I can't gripe too much though because with a schedule like that along with college courses - I was ready for a change from being worn down for 2 years.

I figured I try out being a bank teller, I mean I can count, I like money, I'm good with computers, and I'm quite personable. So while I worked at the bank across the street for 2 years as the drive-thru teller, I was able to graduate from JTCC. I worked part-time from 2:00pm to 6:30 M-F and 2 Saturdays per month. I really like the drive-thru because I could always turn off the client and not need to talk - LOL. I was never in a robbery, but I would go to some sketchy branches to help out. I had some close calls with being robbed, I mean, within hours of coming to work or leaving work. And I went to branches that were robbed the day before and they needed help because some tellers needed off that day to recover....but it never happened to me directly.
