This is a series of caches that I was inspired to create by Red_Family's series of Homburg caches called Grosse Namen and Ich Trage Einen Grossen Namen.
Each of the people in this series were born (MADE) in Germany. Later in life they immigrated to the USA and became citizens of America. Many of them had a great influence on the USA and the rest of the world. I hope that each person who completes this series learns a little bit more about how our two countries, German and The United States of America, are forever connected.
HINT:
I am man.
I was born in Nordrhein-Westfalen.
I am alive.
Too Difficult? Maybe this will help:
I moved to the United States in 1980 where I attended the last year (12th) of American high school.
I played on a sports team for the West Germany National Team in the 1984 Olympics and again in 1992 on the Germany Olympic Team.
Due to the wealth I accumulated playing a popular US game I have established a charitable foundation.
Do you know who I am now? No?
I am the considered the best German to play this game in the United States.
My son now plays the same game I play at University of California at Los Angeles.
In the game I play you can score one, two, or three points.
I retired from playing in 2001 and am now an assistant coach for a professional team.
