Geocache Description:

Caching. The Final Frontier. These are the journals of the dedicated cachers. Their ongoing mission to explore new areas, to seek out new caches, to bold go where no cacher has gone before (if they want a first to find.......)

The cache has been placed in line with the "Leave No Trace" principles so there is no need to tear up the countryside.


The cache is not at the coordinates but can only be found by solving the puzzle below.

Star Trek in all it's incarnations was all about the exploration of space. The credits for the show declared this from the outset. The words have been altered slightly over the years and have been voiced by many of the cast however the original still resonates.

Space:  the  final frontier.
These  are  the  voyages  of  the   starship   Enterprise.
Its  five  -  year  mission

To  explore  strange  new  worlds,
To  seek  out  new  life  and  new civilizations,
To  boldly  go  where  no  man has gone before.

This one is not on the main track but off a loop from the main track. It's a short distance from a track on open mountainside. The track can get muddy after rain and dress for the possibility of wet and cold conditions.

The CO is very approachable for assistance as long as you can demonstrate you made some effort on the puzzle AND the FTF is gone.
