Between 2 Layers Trial
This trail takes approximately one hour to complete and circles a couple of fields and for a short part a country road. It is suitable for families and geohounds. It follows a footpath which is reasonably well marked with signposts. During the winter months it can become quite muddy. Start at the suggested parking area (N51 50.029 E000 49.194) and walk up the gravel path westwards along the footpath and follow the path past the water to your left. Continue straight on and down the hill (avoid going right)- you will see stunning views of the countryside surrounding the Layers. In the distance you will see Layer Marney Towers.
