Geocache Description:

A pinfold is a livestock enclosure, many were built in the 1700s and were common features of medieval England, the word is Anglo Saxon for enclosure.

This particular pinfold is a listed structure, but to the casual drive by motorist it looks just like a small brick wall!

The cache is not on or within the pinfold, treat the pinfold with the respect due to our historical heritage.

The cache is a small magnetic container close to the pinfold.
Please bring something to sign the log.
