Dudding Lake was purchased by the Marton Borough Council in 1965 with cash gifted to the Council specifically for that purpose by Mr JBS Dudding. The area is 16 hectares which includes a camp ground with 24 powered sites, playground, toilet/shower block, picnic tables, water slide and boat ramp for various water activities including water skiing and fishing. Dudding Lake is a great place to stop for lunch or for a rest while travelling along S.H.3.
The cache is a plastic jar and is placed within easy vehicle access by the lake edge.
