Walk down to the seashore and look for the two trolls.
Centuries ago the trolls in the Westfjords decided to dig a channel between this fjord, Kollafjörður, and the one west from here on the other side of the Westfjords. They wanted to create a kingdom of trolls in the Westfjords and see to that no humans would be able to go and live there. They were digging the whole night but it took them too long and the sun came up and changed them into those majestic rocks where they have been standing ever since. The bigger one is the female troll and the smaller is the male. All Icelandic trolls are night-trolls.
