An enchanting view of the Sweet Briar College campus makes a visit to monument hill an essential part of any trip to our campus.
After taking in the sights, and paying respects to our founder and her family, take a brief walk to look for this first geocache on our campus, hidden near its own little piece of history. The cache is a half-sized ammo box and will be easy for an experienced cacher to find. Please note that the cache is NOT in the family sanctuary (burial ground). Feel free to visit the graves while you're there, but do not disturb anything inside the wall. Sweet Briar College is a private women's college in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Central Virginia. We invite you to visit our beautiful 3,250 acre campus, with forests, fields, lakes and hills, and 18 miles of hiking trails. Please note that the campus is only open to the public until 6:00 pm every day, so please make this a daytime cache experience.
