Purpose: Social Fun
The first two "Yank - Canuck" geo-summits saw 60+ cachers invade Clinton each year in search of BBQ, brewskis and fun. All 3 were had in spades, and we've decided to do it again!
Come out for a bonfire weenie roast at Hacienda del Nimrod/Casa Rootie and show our visiting Yankee cachers some down home Island hospitality!
The "caching Yanks" -- boston brewins, kerrytherat and GeoGerry36 (all Honorary Islanders) -- will once again be visiting our fair Island in search of the dynamic duo -- beer and cache -- (if the Boarder Patrol doesn't turn them back first). Rumour has it other CFA (cachers from away) "Honorary Islanders" will also be returning, making for a great "anniversary reunion"!
We'll provide the "weenie works" for supper, and you provide the entertainment as karaoke breaks out -- "This.........is Geo-Idol!"
Fun, laughs, and lots of prizes! What are you waiting for?
The American & Canadian flags will be a flyin', along with the special flag of the "Republic of the Smiley" (aka Mr Happy Face)!
NOTE:
Any off-Island cachers (American & Canadian) who want to be inducted into the "Royal Order of Red Dirt Cachers" and become Honorary Islanders must pre-register for the ceremony.
