This cache is located way off the Azalea trail ...upper ridge.
From Bays Mountain Park.
True story: Out N about with the crew picking up loads O cache along Azalea Trail (many by CCJ), and we just had to plant one here too! Lots of real estate to work with, so John Trollsten and I decided to ditch the trail and cut up thru the back woods towards the top ridge past to make this hide an ambitious temptation. After you catch our breath, and down a ways...there is a bike trail to lead you out.
There is a $4 entrance fee at the gate. Permission for the cache has been granted by the Head Naturalist.
You are looking for a "Lil Dirty Tube" sporting a home made camo paint job. Starts with log, pen, a few trading items, and one TB.
