Geocache Description:

Ever wished you were really tall? Especially to be able to reach these high-terrain caches? If you were as tall as this very tall Canadian, you wouldn't even need some sort of specialized equipment to reach the cache.

Parking is available at the roadside. The cache is a very short hike to the south of the road.

This cache is named in honour of a very tall Canadian, Jerry Sokoloski.

Jerry Sokoloski, born on May 6, 1983 in Toronto is a former Canadian high school basketball player. He is 224 cm (7 feet 4 inches) in height. His shoe size is 23. He is pictured at left in the picture below. He is not a rapper.

Jerry Sokoloski is not a rapper

Sokoloski played high school basketball in Canada for Silverthorn Collegiate Institute before transferring to Chinguacousy High School and Father Henry Carr Catholic Secondary School. He did not advance to college or professional basketball. He declared himself eligible for the NBA draft in 2004 and had workouts with a number of NBA teams but was not drafted.

Sokoloski is the tallest living man in Canada; he was measured on the Canadian morning show Breakfast Television at 224 cm (7'4"). He was recently visited by the tallest man from the U.K., Neil Fingleton, who tops out at 232 cm, just a bit taller than Sokoloski. Fingleton is on the right in the above picture, next to the CN Tower.
