Geocache Description:

Hororata is my brother-in-law's property where they graze drystock.
We come out to visit every now and then and I thought it was about time a cache was placed down this road.

In Māori, "hororata" means "where the Rata fell".
This name seems to fit as there is not a single Rata tree on the property!

The cache is a honey jar nestled into its surroundings.
It is on the roadside of the fenceline and there is no need to enter the property. There is plenty of parking available at GZ.

Permission has been obtained from the landowner and the immediate neighbours are aware of its existence, but please exercise stealth when retrieving the cache as there are plenty of people that drive past.

Caches along this road loop are "Coulter or Coulters?" (GC4WAZM), "Hororata" (GC45RAF), "That (former) shed" (GC4WAYM), Loving Lepidoptera (GC4Z1HM), "Views of Kiwitea" (GC4YM3V), "Views of Wharite" (GC4YMBA), and "Coulters or Coulter?" (GC4YM2C)
