Martin county was formed in 1870. It is located in the Eastern Coal Field region of the state. The elevation in the county ranges from 550 to 1606 feet above sea level. In 2010 the county population was 12,929 in a land area of 229.61 square miles, an average of 56.3 people per square mile.
The county seat is Inez.
Cache is part of the BCC series. BYOP. Adding to the Lame cache series.
