Riverview Park has been undergoing some extensive renovations and for the most part they appear to be complete. The construction was to create a new side channel off the Green River as a habitat area for endangered salmon species such as the chinook, steelhead, and bull trout. It looks amazing and I can't wait to see what it will look like in the summer. (see related web page for a good write up in the Kent Reporter newspaper)
This cache replaces another cache of mine that had an unfortunate placement susceptible to muggles. I could call this one "Son of Fuusengamu", but since this area doesn't have the same Japanese feel as Kaibara Park (where this container would probably go missing in a week), I'm just going to take the initiative and dub this cache and newly created channel isle: "Bubblegum Island"
