The BATTLE BORN DIRTBAGS welcomes you to find "THE FIRE ALTER". This is another series installment to the 'SPANISH SPRINGS ADVENTURE TOUR' (S.S.A.T.) . We recommend a high clearance vehicle due to rocky and muddy conditions and a good pair of boots.
After placing "THE HILLS HAVE EYES" and high tailing it out of there we (zBlindman and Vandal) found this odd looking raised fire ring. Further investigation and the recent experience we had at "THE HILLS HAVE EYES" we came to the conclusion that this place was getting creepier. This fire ring of rocks is 4' off the ground like some kind of sacrificial alter. Our GPS was also acting up at this location which was out in the open. We called it a day after realizing the Sun was almost down and did not want to be up here after dark.
