Geocache Description:

A short letterbox hybrid cache on West Valley Campus.

I noticed that West Valley Campus didn't have any current caches and decided to see about placing a few while I was here chauffering my daughter to classes. While looking around I found the remnants of an old letterbox in a great place for a cache. So in honor of that archived letterbox, I made this one a simple letterbox hybrid. Make sure you sign the log in the one container identified as geocache.

The cache is not at the coordinates given, but very nearby. Follow the directions to where the letterbox is hidden.  Once you find the letterbox, date and sign, and also use your own personal stamp (if you have one) or add a drawing/doodle if you would like. You may use the stamp in the cache to commemorate your visit in your own letterbox notebook if you have one, but please do not take the stamp or inkpad with you.
  • Starting at the street sign at the intersection, look towards the campus.
  • Go up the small hill to the sign.
  • Look behind the West among the plants and cables on backside of the pier-like posts.


LEAVE THE PAD AND STAMP IN THE CONTAINER FOR THE NEXT FINDER.

PARKING:
The college is very serious about the parking fee. Daily passes, required 7 am to 10pm seven days a week, are $3.00 as can be obtain from the vending dispensers scattered throughout the lots. Or there is a 40 min. Visitor Parking area, just make sure your back within the 40 minutes.
