Geocache Description:

This is # 14 in a continuation of the original 12 series of caches in this area called “AAC Cache to Eagle” which highlight Eagle Service Projects by the Boy Scouts of the Alapaha Area Council. The Chehaw Council based in Albany, GA has since merged with the Alapaha Area Council which has now become the South Georgia Council

Each of the original 12 caches contain one randomly selected Point of the Scout Law. When you have completed all original 12 caches, you need to identify which word is associated with each cache number. The first 12 cachers who find and log all 12 should email the cache owner with each Point of the Scout Law correctly identified with each cache number to receive a free BSA 100th Anniversary Geocoin. After the first 12 geocoins have been given away, we will have a random drawing for 12 consecutive months giving away one coin a month for those completing the series not receiving one of the first 12. There are still a few months left!

The Photo highlights the Eagle Project and may or may not include the location of the actual cache, although it will be nearby.

Located very near the Multi-use Pavilion erected by Ethan, an Eagle Scout with Troop 454 here in Valdosta, you will find an ammo can filled with trade items. Please trade accordingly. The official completion date for this project was 11/30/12. Like all of the other caches in this series, the hide is meant for beginners and should be easy to locate. Please place back as found to keep this cache muggle free and please be respectful of the nearby landscaping. You may find Sunday’s and Wednesday’s to have the highest muggle activity.

Permission for cache placement was given by Pastor Brian Anderson.
