Meet at the Town Brow car park, bottom of Sheep Hill Brow

The 11th Annual CITO weekend is scheduled for April 20 and 21, 2013. Those attending CITO Events on April 20 or April 21 (or both!) will earn a 2013 CITO Souvenir for their Geocaching profile. 

Many of the geocachers in the North-West have been grateful to the Cuerden Valley Park Trust for their kind permission to place caches in the Cuerden Valley Park. So, as a modest way of saying thank you, this CITO event will be just perfect.

Balsam is an invasive species, and needs to be cleared; this event will certainly help.

All welcome: No equipment needed; just bring gloves and wellies or boots. Car parking charges at the Town Brow Car Park will be waived.

I have also arranged an associated event - Bashing's End (GC469Y3) at the nearby Hayrick pub, immediately following the CITO event. Please come along to relax and chinwag.
