coolcamaro: We went to this cache site today. The container was still there and in good shape, but the trail leading to the area is no longer maintained by the watershed association. We removed the cache today and we will archive it now.

By the time you reach this geocache area, you have a good understanding of why we call this whole area Wonderland.
This cache is located along a section of the yellow trail that is no longer maintained, in fact, there are "Trail Closed" signs. The trail is still passable, but we recommend wearing long pants. The boardwalks are decaying, but we were able to use what is left of them in April 2020. Please proceed with caution in this area.
The geocache is located in a small clearing, around 200 feet from the "Trail Closed" sign. This area can also be reached by following the "new" yellow trail from the Wonderland Motel area. There is a third option, which is to use the "closed" section of the yellow trail from the Wonderland Motel area. I trimmed back the prickers alongside this trail in April 2020.
