Geocache Description:

Walk and cache details
A dedicated cache set in woodland around Monkdown Woods and Bredhurst Hurst.
You are looking for a small snap lock container.
Please ensure cache is hidden with the natural camouflage that was used.

This cache is dedicated to the BWAG group for their work on keeping the woods in great condition!

Information
The woods have been the subject of considerable restoration over recent years to remove fly-tipping.
Volunteers have cleared away every trace of fly-tipping and Bredhurst Hurst now looks cared for and is being enjoyed by an increasing number of walkers and horse riders.

Details of the work can be found on Bredhurst Woodland Action Group web site.

Many of the paths can be quite muddy even in the summer so good boots are recommended.
If doing the Monkdown Meander series of caches, the explorer map 148 will help with navigation for these.

Due to the tree cover, GPS readings may be a bit inaccurate, please drop me a message if these need altering.


This cache is dedicated to the BWAG who have done a fantastic job with restoring the woods.
