You are looking for a nano in the Dasher park area.
Dasher is moving on up these days and now they have a roundabout in their cute little town. You can visit and enjoy a day at the playground with the kiddos, picnic @ the nice shelters, walk or jog the very nice track, rent their community building or just SIT & RELAX on one of the new, beautiful "Dasher" benches and look at the beauty all around.
The community building (our old house, they call it) is believed to have been built around 1905 by the Tomlinson family. In the mid 20's it was owned by the Jones family and during that time Mr. & Mrs. Henry Ford would stop and stay overnight on their way from Michigan to Ft. Myers, FL to visit Thomas Edison. They say that Henry Ford loved breakfast & especially the biscuits that Annie Lee made. It sounded like this "old house" could have been one of the 1st Bed & Breakfast in Lowndes County.
Dasher also has a historical museum that is open to the public & is host of Dasher Days that is held the third weekend in October each year.
