This cache is located along the old access road for the Jantzen beach amusement park swimming pools. Much has changed since then. More recently a barrier fence has been installed and access is restricted to shoreline access. Please approach by boat, or walk the shoreline in the summer when water is low.
Due to recent changes in access, I've had to move this cache closer to the shoreline. Please be prepared for a long walk walk along the beach if you access this via the shoreline it's 6.2 miles ONE way in summertime,or other times of low water, or use a small boat or kayak and land on the south side of Hayden Island after crossing North Portland Harbor, .12 miles along the old road. I'm leaving the difficulty and size the same to prevent issues with previous finders D/T charts.
