Famous Duck Series: #4
Mallard Fillmore
Mallard Fillmore is the eponymous charcter in a comic strip that has been syndicated since May 1994. It is written by Bruce Tinsley as a conservative political strip. Mallard is a conservative political TV reporter who was hired by the station to meet its quota of "Amphibious Americans." The name is a pun on the 13th President of the United States, Millard Fillmore (I wonder who more people have heard of today: Millard or Mallard?). The comic strip references such people as Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter, while poking fun of other characters who tend to be representatives of whole groups of people.
Q: Where did the duck go when he was sick?
