SLR? The first things I think of when seeing these letters are “single lens reflex” as applied to a camera or “self-loading rifle” which would be appropriate given the proximity of the army training area.
However, in this case they refer to “sea level rise”.
The cache is in a bush near a rusty old post with a sign on it which says "2FT BELOW TOP OF POST MAX HEIGHT OF FLOODWATERS FEB 1946". So clearly floodwaters reach here. But what about the sea?
Have any locals seen a king tide reach this area?
Anyway, the cache should be OK until climate change causes SLR above its current maximum.
