Church Micro 2958 St Peter's Littlebury Green Traditional Cache
Church Micro 2958 St Peter's Littlebury Green
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
St Peter's was set up as a chapel of ease to save residents the trek to the parish church in Littlebury. It was assembled in 1885 from a kit which came complete with stained glass windows. It is still used for services on the 3rd and 4th Sundays of the month.
The chapel was locked when the cache was set, but I just about managed to peer through the windows at the quaint, wood panelled interior. While here be sure to check out the area called "The Bumpy" to the left and behind the chapel as you look from the road. This cache is not in the churchyard. If anybody would like to expand this series please do, I would just ask that you let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
