Every once in a while it is time to return to the basics of geocaching. The ABCs of Geocaching series will test you on your basic skills and maybe stretch you a little bit as well. Since I lost several locations due to VDOT restrictions, I've chosen to recreate some of this series so that you can complete the geocaching alphabet.
C is for Cache. A cache, according to the geocaching website, is "a container hidden that includes, at minimum, a logbook for geocachers to sign." They come in all sorts of shapes, sizes and colors from nano containers to large ammo boxes, from Tupperware to matchbox containers and everything in between. Some are so hard that fgratnz sb xpno rug ab ftby lyynhgpn ren lrug - well, I don't want to give too much away in case that is the cache that currently is stumping you :)
This cache is located on the edge of Hillandale Park. Parking can be found at the posted coordinates. Found this container in a store accidentaly while searching for something else geocaching related. It's one that I don't think I've seen used as a geocaching container very often. Happy hunting!
