Unnamed Park is a park located in Wanniassa. I'm pretty sure it has no official name, so the title of this cache is rather appropriate.
Its actual location of this park used to be just 50 meters or so to the south west, the bike track loop which circled the old park still remains today, but the swings and slipper dip have been removed along time ago. I remember playing there with my brother and sister when I was a kid. So it was removed and repositioned to its current location. Why not? It's closer to the road.
History of Wanniassa. It's located in the northern part of Tuggeranong. It was named after 'Wanajassa' in West Java, Indonesia. The streets of Wanniassa are named after Victorian state politicians. It's underlain by Deakin Volcanics age 414 million years old - cream/green and purple rhyodacite in the eastern half, and rhyolite in the west of the suburb. It's population in 2006 was almost 8000.
