On a nice day the walk to this GC is great, easy tracks and spectacular views.
Boulder Bay can be reached by walking track either from Taylors Mistake which takes about 30-40 minutes or from the Godley Head car park about 30 minutes. The track has recently been re-opened post earthquake damage repairs and a general track upgrade. The track is now in fantastic condition most people can walk it, I recommend walking from Taylors Mistake as the uphill sections are more gentle than the other way. While out on the adventure, enjoy the scenery, wildlfe, even try a spot of fishing, the reefs at Boulder Bay during low tide provide assessable fishing spots or you may like to explore the treasures hiding amongst the rocks. What ever it is grab your GPS device and rucksack head off to Boulder Bay and search out this GC. The container is a 400ml camo Sistema, has the usual items within. This area can be busy with kids climbing around and swinging in the trees. Please care when retrieving and replacing this cache, stealth maybe required. Please place cache back exactly how you found it or if possible hide a little better.
