Ved siden af "campningspladsen" har Naturstyrelsen etableret en sø på ca. 360 ha omgivet af ca. 475 ha marker, enge, overdrev og krat. Disse arealer er fredet for at skabe et smukt og varieret landskab til gavn for både menneske og natur. Den nye sø er etableret i en stor lavning i landskabet, hvor resterne af den oprindelige Bølling Sø lå, indtil den blev afvandet i 1870-erne
Campningspladsen kan benyttes af alle med telt og som kan overleve uden strøm, ca 100 fra pladsen er der WC og mulighed for vand. Indkøbsmuligheder er Brugs og Spar er inden for 1,5 km.

Next to "camp up space here Nature Agency established a lake of approx. 360 hectares surrounded by approx. 475 hectares of fields, meadows, grasslands and scrub. These areas are preserved to create a beautiful and varied landscape for the benefit of both man and nature. The new lake is located in a large hollow in the landscape, where the remains of the original Boiling Lake was until it was drained in the 1870s
Camp Ning site can be used by anyone with a tent and can survive without power, about 100 from the site there is WC and the possibility of water. Brugs and Spar is within 1 km
