Geocache Description:

Located in a small and obscure Essex County park. Approach it via Eagle Rock Ave and park in the second obvious spot you find. Its a short walk and should be an easy find.

This is one of those out of the way parks, frequented by locals and wierd guys who sit in their cars in the parking lot, reading newspapers and heaven knows what else. This one should be an easy find. I may change this in the future to make it a tad more challenging. The cache is hidden in a ammo cannister. The area is fairly open, so make sure you cover the cache well when done. I could have done a better job, but I was on my lunch break, so I didn't have a lot of time to gather material to hide it better. Feel free to add to the covering. There are a lot of "sticker bushes" in the area, so be careful if you are wearing shorts and definitely don't wear your good panty hose while searching. Note: while walking around the park during my lunch hour today (3/28), I found a much more interesting place to put the cache. Sometime next week, I will move this cache, archive the current one, re-name it and turn it into a multi stage affair. For those of you who've already found it, you get another shot at it. Others may want to wait for the new format, or bag this version and the upcoming one as well. Among the original contents were:
  • A coffee mug warmer
  • The Chirpster travel bug
  • Bunny bubble maker
  • The Politically Correct Handbook
  • FDA code book(for you Pharmacists)
  • Packet of recipe cards
  • CD REM Monster
  • Decorative hooks
  • Earthlink CD
  • Small photo alblum
  • Picture frame

Don't worry about the wierd guys in the parking lot. For some reason they watch you closely when you pull up, and follow you into the woods with their eyes, but they never leave the car.
