Geocache Description:


Come on out and meet your
friendly neighborhood Bomb Squad!

On Saturday April, 27th at 10am you will get to do just that.

We will be meeting outdoors on the drill ground located in the rear of the Las Vegas Fire & Rescue Training Center at the posted coordinates.
Parking is very limited at the Training Center, so if you have the opportunity to car pool with someone, that would be great.

There will be a brief history of their department and we will be able to ask them questions and perhaps answer some of theirs as well. We will also be able to get their thoughts and suggestions on what constitutes a good or bad geocache hide or container type as well as preventing any incidents with our caches or even having them blown up.
They will have their Big Response Truck there, deploy a robot and analyze and disrupt a package.
Overall event time will be about 2 hours.

Las Vegas Fire & Rescue PIO (Public Information Officer), Tim Szymanski will also be on hand to document the event.

This event WILL end with a bang!
If you are sensitive to loud noises, you may want to consider bringing some hearing protection. Also, for that same reason, it may be a good idea to leave little ones at home this time.
The same goes for pets. To avoid startling them, we ask that you leave them home as well.

We will provide treats and refreshments afterwards. Therefore, an accurate "Will Attend" count is vital so no one misses out.
Please let us know how many in your group when you add your "Will Attend" log.

Please don't clutter our logs with "Notes" of why you can't make it or questions regarding the event. We will delete them in order to keep an easier to monitor attendance count.
