If needed, feel free to replace a full log with an appropriate size piece of paper- Thanks Also- I love seeing your pics from GZ, but if you show spoiler pics that include the cache itself or its hiding place, I will delete them without notice.

Stop dragging my church around- Actually I don't mind so much, It has escaped destruction every time it gets relocated- three times now. No need to leave the north sidewalk, and be sure to watch for the traffic signal.

The Little Church of the West is now the oldest building on the Las Vegas Strip. Originally built in 1942 on the north end of the Last Frontier property, it was meant as an example of old western, small time charm. The California redwood construction adds to the beauty of the chapel, which turned 70 years old last year, and has held a place on the United States national register of historic places since September 1992.

In 1954, it was moved to the South end of the hotel, to almost the exact spot you will visit to make the find. In 1979, with the construction of the Fashion Show mall, it again spared from likely destruction as it was moved to the south end of the Strip, to the Hacienda hotel.

In 1995, The Hacienda was the second in a too long string of lavish, fiery implosions that resulted in many historic hotels being erased from the Strip. The Little Church was relocated once more, to its current location at the intersection of Las Vegas Blvd and Russell Rd.

The church has an amazing history in TV and Movies, too - It was used as location in 1964's 'Viva Las Vegas' starring Elvis Presley and Ann Margret along with many TV shows. Some of its more well known guests were Betty Grable, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Redd Foxx, Judy Garland, Mickey Rooney, Dudley Moore, Mel Torme and Angelina Jolie, just to name a few, who were all married in the church.

Looking for a memorable place to get married while visiting Las Vegas? The Little Church still performs weddings. Learn more here: http://www.littlechurchlv.com/

Cache is log only, PLEASE replace exactly as/where you found it, write small when logging, and do not use stickers.

Special congrats to gulpertstein for his first FTF in the USA!!
