Geocache Description:

Caching. The Final Frontier. These are the journals of the dedicated cachers. Their ongoing mission to explore new areas, to seek out new caches, to bold go where no cacher has gone before (if they want a first to find.......)

The cache has been placed in line with the "Leave No Trace" principles so there is no need to tear up the countryside.

The cache is not at the coordinates but can only be found by solving the puzzle below.

IDIC stands for Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations. It is the basis of Vulcan philosophy in the Star Trek Universe and recognises the vast number of variables that exist throught that universe.

One of the areas where this is demonstrated in Star Trek is where individuals from different species overcome their inate difference and form lasting relationships with his other. Spock, one of best known and loved characters is himself the product of such a relationship being half vulcam, half human.

Below is a list which reflects some "real", some imagined relationships which will lead you to your goal. Some races are used more than once

As with previous puzzles in this series I am aware you can guess R and V. They are there to help you with the puzzle as the answers are somewhat obvious.

Check Sum for R+S+T+U+V+W+X+Y=45

You can check your answers for this puzzle on GeoChecker.com.

This one is not on the main track but on a loop from the main track. It is a few steps from the track. The track can get muddy after rain and dress for the possibility of wet and cold conditions.

The CO is very approachable for assistance as long as you can demonstrate you made some effort on the puzzle AND the FTF is gone.
