Wareham Picture Quiz Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

justine time: The container has gone missing again, so I've decided not to replace it and I'm archiving this cache. I might create a different quiz and find a better location for the final cache so that it won't get muggled so easily. Thanks for all the nice logs - I'm glad that you enjoyed it!

Geocache Description:

This is a picture quiz around the historic town of Wareham. The cache is not at the published coordinates - you'll need to find the location of pictures as you walk around Wareham and answer some simple questions to find the final coordinates. If you fancy a walk but don't want to get muddy, then this could be the cache for you, as it is all on pavements or gravel paths. Hopefully it will be suitable for everyone, including families with strollers and wheelchair users. The total distance covered is approximately 1 mile. As you walk around, you'll also have the opportunity to find several other caches in Wareham.

I recommend printing off a copy of the pictures beforehand (click on Wareham Picture Quiz in the picture gallery to see them). A streetmap of Wareham town centre would also be very useful. Please take care crossing the main roads.

Here are the questions to answer (with directions in italics):-

Go to Lady St Mary Church at N50 41.063 W002 06.480 (trail head)

The final cache is at: N50 4G. B (J+L-E) (H/A) W002 0M. (D+F) (C/Q) (N-K-P)

The checksum for all the digits in the final coordinates is 49.

I wanted to keep this a mud free multi and make it accessible to all, so the final cache has had to be a micro, due to its location. Please watch out for passing muggles and replace the cache as found. Good luck!

Well done Glynrob - you were FTF!
