Geocache Description:

The village of Elmesthorpe dates back to the 13th century, and is now split by the M69. As a family, we regularly wave to the drivers on the motorway from this bridge, which also offers good views of Burbage common and woods to the South West.

The terrain is easy, next to a main road. There is space to park off-road nearby, but please do not block any driveways. Please be careful with small children -while there is a good path, this road can be busy at times. Cache is a plastic lock-lid tub, wrapped with black tape to camouflage. When set it contained some small swaps, a logbook and pencil.
