Amadores beach is located between Puerto Rico and Puerto de Mogan, in the southwest coast of Gran Canaria.
This large bay, sheltered from ocean currents, presumes to be a strip of white sand of 800 meters and crystal clear waters. Quiet and relaxing, is a popular choice for people seeking a quiet place to spend the day in the sun. There are also many restaurants and shops close to the beach.
This is our favorite place on the island and we have spent many holidays here with our family. On our last holiday to Gran Canaria in February 2013, we left this geocache box on the beautiful Amadores beach. The cache should be easy to find all day long, and it is placed only a few steps from the parking place.
The box contained the following items: FTF certificate, log book, pencil and some small items.
Note: We have left 2 log books in the box and we hope they will last until we return to the island for our next holiday.
