Geocache Description:

This building was once the Jenkins Publishing building, but it was donated to the Mascoutah museum. This museum is a rare treasure in the Metro East, and many residents don't even know of its existence.  Cache can be found any time.

Container was a peanut butter jar but might be something different. Large enough for swag anyway. Permission to cache here has been granted. This cache is on the grounds of the Mascoutah Historical Society. The museum is open 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month from 1:00 - 4:00, and Tuesdays from 9:00 - Noon.
