It has been a while since I first looked at this cache. I can't find any recent responses about maintaining this cache so for the time being it will be archived and removed from the active cache listings. We are no longer leaving caches stay disabled for extended periods of time.

Groundspeak and the geocaching community appreciate your contributions to geocaching and I hope to see this cache back in operation soon.

If you can get it back up and running in the next week or so contact me to get it re-listed. Otherwise plan to move it slightly and set up a new cache page.

Geocache Description:

February's OTAC is a prelude to March, (which isn't done yet otherwise it would be Februaury's).  With pitchers and catchers reporting to spring training, we thought it fitting to brush up on your Cardinal trivia

To claim this cache you will have know your baseball

1. A=Last 2 digits of the year the St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Detroit Tigers in 7 games

2. B=The number of retired Cardinal great player and manager.  As an active member of the St. Louis Cardinals he has appeared in 9 All-Star games and 5 World Series wearing the Birds on the Bat in his 68th year in professional baseball.

3 .C=Last 2 digits of the year the first time the St. Louis Cardinals defeated the New York Yankees in 7 games..  This game feature futre Hall of Famers Babe Ruth and Rogers Hornsby.

4 D= The number on retired Cardinal great, whos statue still stands outside Busch Stadium with the inscription reads 'Here stands baseball's greatest warrior, Here stands baseball's perfect Knight."  With a career .331 batting average; 3,630 hits; 475 home runs, and 1,951 RBI.  He appearied in 24 All-Star games and is a 3 time World Series Champion.  He owns 3 MVP's and 7 batting titles.  He was elected to the baseball hall of fame on the first ballot with 93.2% of the vote in 1959.  He was selected to the MLB All-Century team and is widely regarded as the greatest Cardinal to ever live.
