Geocache Description:

This cache is located just off the walking trail around Campus Lake at Southern Illinois University.  It offers a great view of the lake, and much of the western part of the campus.

Cache is loacted a few yards off the trail.  It is a plastic container painted to make it less visible.  The box contains a log and some trade items.  The old location of the beach house offers the closest parking, but I would encourage cachers to walk all the way around the lake, as it is a nice paved trail with lots of good views of Campus Lake, the West Campus residence halls at Thompson Point, and the Engineering Building.
