Geocache Description:

A small tupperware cache with some swag and room for trade items.

Field Marshal Arthur Wellesley (1769-1852), 1st Duke of Wellington, was a British soldier and statesman, and one of the leading military and political figures of the 19th century.  He is most notable for leading the Anglo-allied army at Waterloo in 1815 in the decisive defeat of the French army led by Napolean Bonaparte.

"All the business of war, and indeed all the business of life, is to endeavour to find out what you don't know by what you do; that's what I called 'guessing what was at the other side of the hill'. "

The original "force" was routed early in the battle but it has been lately "reinforced" with the rock-steady Prussian army.

The cache is in Wellington Park -- do not approach from New Circle Road.
LFUCG cache permission WEL04 granted by C.Michael Downs.
